Sewing masks
Thank you The Princess Bride and the Dread Pirate Roberts for that memorable and oh so applicable quote.
Thanks to this pandemic, I decided to try my hand at sewing masks. I documented my process on Twitter, but feel free to enjoy this long form version as well.

This was the first mask I have tried and I followed this Craft Passion pattern. I printed out the teenagers & women size with the seam allowance already in it. I don’t have time to remember to add seam allowances.
I found all my cotton fabric.

I decided to use the blue Darth Vader fabric as I had squares cut from it from another project.
I sewed and did my thing until my machine had other ideas….

I cleaned my machine, rewound the bobbin, and rethreaded it. After that it sewed straight and true and I was able to finish the mask. I guess sometimes all we need a good thorough cleaning.
