Zooming through crochet projects
I don’t always crochet only in Zoom calls, I also watch bad movies and crochet!
I am still zooming through projects. I started this shawl because my friend Amanda was asking which pattern to try first, a rectangular shawl or a triangular one. I prefer triangles because they are routinely less stitches to cast on. I hate casting on in both knitting and crochet. I am always afraid of having too many or too few stitches. It is a lot easier when you only have say three or eight stitches to start with.
Amanda just doesn’t give me shawl pattern ideas. She also tempts me with yarn and crochet hooks. Furls had a deal that bundled yarn with a hook. The hooks have interested me for a while. I am always on the lookout for a good comfy hook, especially if they come in pretty colors.
So despite my best efforts to not buy new craft supplies, I bought the bundle. They had a teal yarn! How could I say no?
So pretty….
